Law Roundup: Kalispell woman feels threatened by Californian

A woman received a threatening text message from an unknown California number after her car was struck in an unreported hit-and-run accident, she told the Kalispell Police Department.

A German shepherd dog was reportedly tied up and looking “very uncomfortable” near a fast-food restaurant. However, when an officer checked on the dog, it was not tied up.

A man who was not allowed in a grocery store returned to the business. He was cited and released.

A car was broken into and a purse was stolen from it. Blood also appeared on the vehicle.

Two drivers were asked to leave a business because they parked in the parking lot but they weren’t customers.

A man was seen “staggering around” East Oregon Street in Kalispell.

A man at a business said he didn’t know how he called 911.

A man tried unsuccessfully to get into two vehicles outside a large retail store in North Kalispell.

Someone was concerned two law enforcement officers were on private property, even though the property didn’t belong to the caller. He thought the officers might be there illegally.

An employee was suspicious when a couple bought a hammer at a store in an alleged attempt to open a vehicle where they said they had locked their keys. Then a tow truck company arrived to unlock the car for the couple.

A man refused to leave a motel “because it’s too cold,” he said.

Someone was arrested with three other ID’s on him.

A black Honda was parked on a sidewalk.

A man said his gun was taken from a location, but he didn’t know when it was taken or who took it.
