Lions hold ice fishing derby

The 50th Sunriser Lions Family Ice Fishing Derby will take place from 7 a..m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Smith Lake near Kila west of Kalispell. There will be prizes for largest and smallest fish for several species, hourly drawings, warming fire and free s’mores. The Lions trailer will be there with hot drinks, chili, hot dogs and hamburgers.

Walleyes Unlimited will also donate fishing rods for kids.

The cost for adults is $8, $3 for kids, and $12 for families.
