Local artist offers portrait workshop

Diane Neville Knowles is offering an art workshop at Sykes Diner in Kalispell beginning Jan. 8.

Each workshop she conducts consists of 24 hours of instruction given in four 6-hour days. The new student is guaranteed an excellent pastel portrait “head study” of a model of their choice, regardless of their past experience or ability.

All supplies are included in the fee except a photograph of the student's choice of their model.

The workshop is limited to eight students. The class runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch break is between noon and 1 p.m.
