NVMS offers free first lessons for new students this month
North Valley Music School in Whitefish invites new students and returning performers to enroll for their continuing winter music programming. The nonprofit music school matches high-quality instruction from experienced musicians with students of instruments, ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
NVMS is now offering their “Let’s Play” promotion, which allows new students who sign up in January to receive their first lesson for free.
Other music programs include early childhood group experience for ages 0-5 with a caregiver, glee club, and a free children’s choir for ages seven to 12. There are also instrument lessons available for adults and children who would like to learn guitar, ukulele, piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, drums, percussion, voice, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, harp, saxophone and flute.
Music theory and music tech lessons are also offered. A release from NVMS said scholarships are available.
NVMS was founded in 1997 and teaches over 500 students annually from babies to adults through private lessons, group classes, summer camps, and workshops.
