Rob Bosley, 66
After a short battle with lung cancer, Rob passed on into his eternal home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Kalispell and was 66 years old at the time of his death.
At the age of 16, Rob left the school setting and entered the school of life where he educated himself in so many areas. Upon leaving school, he joined his father in the logging industry where he found his passion in all aspects of harvesting logs. He grew into a skilled sawyer, skidder, log loader, clipper operator and truck driver. Sadly at the young age of 32, a serious logging accident caused him to retire from the logging industry.
Rob was a true Montana boy and wore a hat of many trades, there wasn’t much he couldn’t do. If he wanted to do something, he would figure it out and make it happen. He was a man with many talents.
At the age of 17, Rob married his eighth-grade sweetheart Debbie (Berger), they would have celebrated 49 years of marriage this summer. They were an example of true love and together accomplished a wonderful fulfilled life of family, fun, work and adventure. He loved fishing the creek and rivers, hunting, and was an avid classic/muscle car collector. Above all, he was a homebody enjoying working in his yard, puttering in his shop on different projects and spending time with family.
Rob is preceded in death by his parents, Bob Sr. and Phyllis Bosley.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children: Rob (Robbie) Bosley III, Lesa (Bosley) Lindahl, and Lori (Bosley) Kaufmann; grandchildren: Brittany Sago, Kimberly Vaughn, Joey Vessie, Cody Lindahl, Landin Whitehead, Izach and Kaylee Kaufmann; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie (Fredericks) State; brothers, Jerry Fredericks (Leola) and Sid Fredericks (Shawn); and many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to join us as we celebrate Rob’s life on Wednesday, July 6 at 12 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 540 S. Main in Kalispell. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to an organization of your choice.
The family thanks Emcompass Hospice for their wonderful care of Rob and his family.
