Bigfork church hosts presentation on Trust in Education

As part of its “Did You Know” monthly series, the Bigfork United Methodist church at 750 Electric Ave., presents Budd MacKenzie of Trust in Education, at 7 p.m. Monday, July 18.

Trust in Education has provided aid to Afghan children and families for over 18 years. When the Taliban seized control last August, founder Budd Mackenzie feared his work was over. Instead, it has grown. Learn more about the work TIE is doing — from providing education to girls to ensuring poverty-stricken families can feed and house their children. Attendees will learn about the realities of Sharia law, the needs of the Afghan people, and what they can do to help.
