Carol Jean 'Jeannie' (Blihovde) LeDoux, 79
Carol Jean “Jeannie” (Blihovde) LeDoux, 79, of Kila, passed away on July 10, 2022, after a three-year battle with cancer.
Jeannie was born on March 9, 1943, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to Morris and Evelyn (Larson) Blihovde. She grew up as a farm girl in Cashton, Wisconsin, and graduated from Cashton High School in 1961. Jeannie was united in marriage to David Conrad LeDoux on Nov. 14, 1975. Together they moved to the “big cities” of Milwaukee and Chicago where they raised their family and Jeannie furthered her career in accounting.
Jeannie loved her Lord and her family with an unending, ferocious heart. She enjoyed the Chicago Bears, salted caramel lattes, manicures and pedicures, and always looking “put together.”
She is survived by her devoted, loyal, husband who cared for her until the very end — always honoring her wishes and spoiling her precious; a big, beautiful, blended family of seven children (who were unconditionally loved despite their antics); a very special brother and always the heart of the family, Gary (Julie) Blihovde; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. She also left over 200 pairs of shoes and a binder full of instructions.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Don Blihovde, in 2001.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Easthaven Baptist Church in Kalispell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Logan Hospice Care, 275 Corporate Drive, Suite 600, Kalispell, MT 59901, without whom this journey would not have ended as she desired — in her home in Kila.
