Denise Rose (Marquart) Schlegel, 53

Denise Rose (Marquart) Schlegel, 53, of Kalispell, passed away June 15, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Denise was born March 27, 1969 in Sheridan, to Bennie and Audrey (Bulock) Helock. One nine children, they would go on to be raised in the Glasgow area of Montana.

She married her true love, Wayne Schlegel, in Kalispell in 1997 and raised three wonderful children together. She wasn’t one to be held back and climbed her way up to Operations Manager at DSG Dakota Supply Group where she worked for 20 years. She loved being outdoors hunting and ice fishing every chance she could, but nothing held a candle to her love of her time with her family.

Denise is preceded in death by her mother Audrey. She is survived by her husband Wayne; children Casey Marquart, Shelby West and Royce Schlegel and his fiancé Shea Balbach; father Bennie; siblings Gerrie Good, VI Marsh, Pearl, Pete, Bruce, Frank, Keith and Sonny Marquart and grandchildren Reiley and Audrey Love, Jackson Cottingham and Reid Schlegel.
