Cassandra Marie (Murray) Juntunen, 40
Cassandra Marie (Murray) Juntunen, 40, passed away June 9, 2022, at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell.
She was born Jan. 23, 1982, in Whitefish and raised in Columbia Falls. She graduated from Columbia Falls High School with the Class of 2000.
Sandra was married to Jesse Juntunen for 17 years.
She worked as a housekeeper at the Candy Bar Ranch, and had also worked as a tax advisor for H&R Block, and at Best Bet Casino and Loose Change Casino.
An avid baseball mom, Sandra loved watching all three of her sons play. She kept the score book, ran the scoreboard and played the music.
Sandra was simply an amazing woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, niece and granddaughter. Her warm smile and laugh were very contagious to anyone who was lucky enough to be around her. The
love she had for family and friends was incredible. There was always a special spot in her heart for the ones she loved. The absolute number one pride and joy in her life was her three boys Skyler, Dawson and Derek. Anytime she was near them she would glow with so much pride and always would dedicate everything she had to them in every aspect of their lives, no matter what it was. She was a very happy and proud mom.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Charles Juntunen, grandfather Joe Jangula, and grandmother Ina Murray.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Jesse Juntunen, of Columbia Falls; parents, Allen and Patty Jangula, of Columbia Falls; sons, Skyler Warner, Army specialist currently stationed in Germany, and Dawson Juntunen and Derek Juntunen, both of Columbia Falls; brother, Kyle Jangula (Sierra) of Belgrade; grandmother, Paulina Jangula, of North Dakota; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and in-laws.
Sandra was definitely the rock of our family and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace. We love you.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Sapa-Johnsrud Baseball Complex in Columbia Falls.
