A Columbia Falls employee allegedly told a man he was not allowed to “drop his load of sod” at the location, but the man — who felt he was entitled because he paid taxes —proceeded to dump the load anyway.

A man reportedly called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office with a cryptic message that he thought an emergency would happen late at night and requested extra patrols and refused to answer what exactly he believed would happen.

Someone allegedly drove up to an easement in Columbia Falls and stole all the rocks lining the road. Someone thought the culprit could have been people buying the property.

A transient man reportedly slept in a woman’s backyard in a chicken coop and she told deputies she noticed he tried to get into the back door. He also left behind a mountain bike.

A Bigfork resident claimed his neighbor was trying to influence him and take over his house.

Another Bigfork resident was purportedly upset about noisy motorcycles driving past his house and wanted to talk to a deputy about it. He called a second time to “remind” deputies to respond because the noise was getting worse.

Someone had concerns that a barge allegedly being used as a vacation rental was parking in a private access slough.

Someone reportedly passed out in the grass near a balcony in Bigfork.

Elk allegedly from a Kalispell farm were going onto someone’s property and the resident was worried that someone would hit them. The property owner said they reported it to officers before and attempted to report it to Fish and Game because they felt the farmer needed to fix a fence because they posed a road hazard.

A woman’s family reportedly woke up to the sounds of gunshots, screaming and yelling in Kalispell. She called back to report she went over to the neighbors, saying they were very nice, and would stop shooting for the night.

Someone was suspicious about two vehicles containing eight or nine people that allegedly pulled up to a “road closed” sign in Kalispell and then the person heard something metal being dragged around and wanted deputies to check on it.

Several car alarms went off in Whitefish and would stop for about 30 minutes before going off again raising concerns that people were trying to break into vehicles.

Three horses were running in the road.
