KAMTA music scholars perform concert fundraiser

| March 3, 2022 12:00 AM

The Kalispell Area Music Teachers Association (KAMTA) presents its 19th annual Scholarship Alumni Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the Flathead High School Performance Hall.

Kalispell natives Abby Van Allen, Madison Wambeke and Jordan Neiman will perform piano music by Chopin, Grieg, Debussy, Bach and others. KAMTA scholarships help local music students further their education through summer music festivals and college.

Admission is free. Donations to the Scholarship Fund will be appreciated.

Over the past 35 years, KAMTA has awarded more than 270 scholarships totaling well over $150,000. Scholarship funds are primarily raised through generous donations from community sponsors.
