No. 28373 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES The ROUND BUTTE WATER COMPANY (RBWC) in Ronan, Lake County, Montana is soliciting proposals from engineering firms for Engineering Services for a Water Main Replacement project. The RBWC will require assistance with design, bidding process, and construction contract administration for completion of approximately 2400 LF of water main replacement and associated improvements to the water system. A survey has been completed and can be provided to the selected engineer. All design work will be in accordance with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Montana Public Works, Montana Public Works Standard Specifications and the Environmental Protection Agency. The RBWC has received or may receive funding from the American Rescue Plan Act thru an allocation from Lake County. The selected engineer must be familiar with these agencies and their requirements. Responses to this RFP should include: 1. The firm's legal name, address and telephone number; 2. The principal(s) of the firm and their experience and qualifications; 3. The experience and qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the project; Include at least three (3) references; 4. A description of the firm's current work activities and how these would be coordinated with the project as well as the firm's anticipated availability during the term of the project; 5. A list of experience working in similar sized communities involving Public Water and Sewer Systems (include a contact telephone number.) Respondents will be evaluated according to the following factors: Overall quality of the proposal; 10% Proximity of the location of the engineering firm to the project area; 20% Prior experience of assigned staff with similar projects; 30% Engineering firm's work experience with similar entities; 10% Availability of staff to be assigned to this project; 20% References 10% The RBWC shall select the engineering firm based on an evaluation of the written proposals or may select several finalists to be interviewed. The Award will be made to the firm whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the RBWC.
