Law roundup: Drunk duo pull hair in parking lot spat

| March 8, 2022 12:00 AM

Two intoxicated women were allegedly yelling and pulling each other’s hair in a parking lot. One of the women claimed the other also hit her.

A man wearing a beanie and a gray jacket allegedly followed a woman and her best friend around a store and outside as they walked to their vehicle.

Someone purportedly saw a male with a knife out inside a sleeping bag outside their apartment and found it “very creepy.” He sounded intoxicated when he began yelling for an individual to come out and was refusing to leave the property. Officers counseled the male who packed up his stuff and planned to go up to his parent’s apartment.

Officers made contact with a man hiding in bushes who claimed he was staying at the hotel.

Parties were separated and counseled by officers.

A man reportedly found some of his stolen property in a vehicle and became antsy when asked for more information by dispatchers, telling them to “just get an officer here now.” He hung up when dispatchers put him on hold to answer a 911 call. Attempting to call him back, dispatchers received a “not in service,” message.

There were 14 calls received about a barefoot man with dark hair seen walking in and out of traffic while looking at the ground. On one call, a driver said he jumped out in front of their truck. Montana Highway Patrol was advised about the situation. The man did not have an ID and refused to identify himself to officers.

A drive-thru customer reportedly noticed a silver SUV parked in front of a fire hydrant.

Multiple trucks were allegedly driving recklessly in the area of East Montana Street.

A man’s belongings including clothes and speakers were reported missing from his van.

Citations were issued to vehicles parked over the sidewalk at the end of their driveway, which was allegedly an ongoing issue.
