Whitefish tennis programs finish season undefeated

WHITEFISH — Whitefish’s Lauren Brown won a marquee match against Corvallis’ Dakota Powell Saturday, to help the Bulldogs to a 4-3 win and an undefeated 14-0 season for the first time in program history.

Brown defeated Powell 4-6, 6-3, 1-0(6), with the final set going to a tiebreaker due to time concerns. The two figure to be contenders for the individual title at the State A tennis tournament in two weeks.

Whitefish also topped Hamilton 5-3.

The Bulldog boys also finished the season 14-0, and on Saturday beat Hamilton 6-1 and Corvallis 7-0.

Doubles pair Aaron Dicks and Mason Kelch won twice, and Highland Lee-French was a double winner in singles.
