‘No Coward’s Epitaph' encore presentation in Polson
Port Polson Players are reprising the historical musical by Neal Lewing, “No Coward’s Epitaph” at Polson’s Theatre on the Lake, for two weekends from May 20 through May 29 following its popular world premiere last November.
The show tells the story of Thomas Francis Meagher, the man on the horse in front of Montana’s state capitol in Helena. Meagher, an Irish patriot, became Montana’s first acting territorial governor.
Full of all the action, intrigue, commentary and romance that defined Meagher’s brief life (1823 to 1867), the musical captures his ongoing legacy, which remains relevant today.
“No Coward’s Epitaph" plays two weekends at Polson’s log Theatre on the Lake. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
