Bravettes bow out of divisional

MISSOULA — Flathead’s run at the Western AA Divisional volleyball tournament ended Saturday, with a straight-set loss to Missoula Sentinel in loser-out action.

The Spartans, who fell in Friday’s semifinals, punched their ticket to next week’s State AA tournament in Bozeman with a 25-18, 25-21, 25-23 victory. Flathead ended up 8-19.

Olive Lyngholm had 10 kills and four aces for the Bravettes. Sienna Sterck had four kills, 13 digs and four aces.

Emma Delong chipped in three aces, Georgia Wilson had 13 assists and Cyan Mooney made 12 digs.
