| November 7, 2022 12:00 AM

William "Bill" Arlint, 78, passed away Oct. 25, 2022, with his family by his side at Logan Health, Kalispell.

Bill was born June 1, 1944, to the late Allen and Betty (Drebes) Arlint. He grew up in Ronan and Kalispell, graduating from Flathead County High School and attended Northern Montana College in Havre.

While attending college, Bill met his wife of 57 years, Linda Nelson. They were married in Havre and had two children, Chantelle and Michael.

He was employed by Hill County Electric and Triangle Telephone in Havre and then Rudyard. The family moved to Kalispell when he started working for what is now known as CenturyLink and later transferred to Gig Harbor, Washington. After leaving the telephone company the family moved back to Kalispell where Bill joined the family business, Glacier Wholesale. He retired from Glacier Wholesale but wasn't quite ready to sit back and relax. He sampled other employment including driving for rental car companies, doing transfers for a car dealership, and his favorite was working in his shop repairing wooden pallets.

Bill loved spending time with his family and enjoying his free time outdoors. He and Linda traveled to Maui for many years taking pleasure in the ocean, warmth of the sun and leaving winter behind for a few weeks.

Bill is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Chantelle and Michael; grandchildren, Nathan, David and Yuli, Steven, Bradley and Paige, Cooper, Mackenzie and Madison; great-grandchildren Gabriella and Leighton; sister Thelma; and brothers Tim and John.

A reception lunch for family and friends will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 South Main Street in Kalispell, on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.
