Marcus DeVries of Kalispell presented the findings of his summer's research during a poster session Sept. 13 at Central College in Pella, Iowa. Research was presented by 17 students and their faculty advisors. DeVries is a biochemistry major in the class of 2023.

Matthew Koenig of Kalispell participated in a speech and debate tournament on the Concordia campus Oct. 1. This was the first in-person forensics event for the department since 2019.

Concordia faculty and staff helped judge the event. Participating schools were from Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota and South Dakota.

Emily I. Sharp, of Olney, a sophomore at Oregon State University in Corvallis, made the 2022 Scholastic Summer Honor Roll. She is studying women, gender and sexuality.

Allison Miller of Kalispell was named to the spring 2022 dean’s list at Biola University in La Mirada, California.
