Hellgate Knights sweep Glacier teams

Missoula Hellgate overpowered the Glacier Wolfpack 5-2 in Western AA soccer on Saturday.

Joey Paolini and Harrison Sanders scored one minute apart in the first half to give Glacier (6-2-3) a short-lived 2-1 lead. Hellgate (10-1-0) added two quick goals before the half to lead 3-2.

Then things got further out of hand after the half – Hellgate stepped on the gas and scored two more goals to close out the game.

Ryan Iskra picked up the assist on Sanders’ goal.

Hellgate edged the Glacier girls 7-5 Saturday, despite Calista Wroble’s Herculean four-goal effort.

Reagan Brisendine added a goal (her 22nd) and assist, and Cadence Murcray had an assist for Glacier, who fell to 2-9-0. Hellgate is 10-0-1.
