Law roundup: Cats responsible for eerie sounds under camper
A woman calling the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from Kalispell reportedly thought her ex was the culprit again behind strange noises coming from under her camper and wanted deputies to get there “pronto” to check it out. When she spoke to deputies, she realized cats were making eerie sounds.
Two kids, who were not wearing helmets, were reportedly riding dirt bikes, which did not have the headlights on, up and down the road, in driveways and fields in Kalispell.
Muddy shoe prints were reportedly found near and inside someone’s vehicle, which the owner said: “smelled like a man.” However, nothing was found missing.
Kalispell Police Department responded to a report about a neighbor’s dog getting loose and trying to attack anyone who walked by. A man asked officers to tie a gate shut and pile firewood against it.
An old motor home sitting in the middle of the road was reportedly out of gas and a man was heard swearing at a woman sitting on the sidewalk, crying.
A woman’s complaint about an ex allegedly escalated when he posted a video of their relationship on social media and was being harassed by thousands of people, who “were coming after her and her business. She claimed to have an unserved temporary restraining order against the ex.
