Spartans drop Bravettes 3-0 in playoffs

MISSOULA – Sentinel senior Hailey Wolsky scored two goals for the Spartans in a 3-0 win in a girls State AA soccer first round game on Tuesday.

Wolsky scored a minute into the second half, breaking a 0-0 tie. Brooke McKittrick gave the Spartans a 2-0 lead in the 43rd minute, and Wolsky punctuated the win with a goal in the 58th minute.

As the No. 6 Western AA team, the Bravettes snuck into the playoffs with a win over crosstown rival Glacier. Sentinel is the No. 3 western team and advances to play the No. 2 Eastern seed Billings Skyview on Friday in a quarterfinal game.
