Bengal spikers beat Bravettes in four

The Helena Capital Bengals topped the Flathead Bravettes in four sets in Western AA volleyball Thursday.

Helena won the first set and Flathead tied it with a 25-19 win in the second set.

Flathead had 17 service aces to Capital's 4. Amelia Mason led the Bravettes (5-16 overall, 4-7 conference) with six.

The Bravettes also had 43 digs to 40 for Capital (5-16, 5-6). Olive Lyngholm led Flathead with 15. Lyngholm also had seven kills.

For Capital, Kayla Almquist had 18 assists, three blocks and an ace. Taylor Ferretti added two aces, 10 digs and 11 assists.
