Darrell Thomas Micklewright, 76

Darrell Thomas Micklewright, 76, passed away on Oct. 18, 2022, in Kalispell.

He was born to Duane and Betty Micklewright on Oct. 12, 1946, and raised on their farm in northwest Davenport, Iowa. He attended St. Ambrose University and served in the U.S. Navy. Darrell was married to Francine Bour from 1974 to 1988. They had three children and moved the family to Kalispell in 1984. Darrell owned CBK Services and the Credit Bureau of Libby. He became an upstanding member of the community for many years. In 2001, Darrell married Sharon Bonnet, who passed in 2016 after an extended illness and several years of his loving care. Darrell loved the Flathead Valley, boating on Flathead Lake, and traveling in his RV to visit friends and family all over the country.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Ryan Micklewright.

Survivors include his devoted children Jason Micklewright and Jennifer Micklewright, and grandchildren, Abigail Kikendall and Samuel Micklewright, all of Kalispell; siblings, Dean (Denise) Micklewright, Dale Micklewright, Debra (Kevin) Coonts and Dave Micklewright; and numerous loving nieces and nephews of Davenport, Iowa.

Services will be held at a later date. Darrell will be greatly missed.
