More than gift of learning this month with library card sign up
This September ImagineIF Libraries is joining libraries nationwide for Library Card Sign-Up Month, a time to remind parents, caregivers and students that a library card is the first step toward academic achievement and lifelong learning.
A library card opens a world of possibilities through resources and services that give students the tools to succeed in school and beyond. From STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) programs, early literacy classes, to makerspaces and in-person or virtual homework help, libraries transform lives through education.
With a library card, adults can find exciting fiction, nonfiction, downloadable audio and eBooks and a wealth of information at their fingertips through ImagineIF's online databases and digital tools. For example, CreativeBug offers crafters and makers hours of video tutorials for painting, drawing, sewing and more. Get started at imagineiflibraries.org.
ImagineIF is launching Your Passport to Learning, a campaign celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month. All through September, when you sign-up for a library card or ImagineIF’s email newsletter, you get free ImagineIF merchandise, such as a tote bag, lapel pin, button, notebook or coffee mug (while supplies last). Already subscribed to our email list and have a library card? Bring a friend to sign up and get free merchandise. Stop into any ImagineIF location in Kalispell, Columbia Falls or Bigfork to sign up.
