Race along new Parkline trail set for Sept. 17
The Kalispell Downtown Association, in partnership with the Postpartum Resource Group, is holding the Kalispell Parkline Race on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The run begins in the northwest corner of the Kalispell Center Mall parking lot i traveling on the new Parkline Trail.
This is a family fun event with runners, walkers and strollers invited to participate. The 10K race begins at 10 a.m. followed by the 5K at 10:15 a.m.
Volunteers are also needed for the race, which will be followed by a celebration at Kalispell’s Depot Park.

Packet pickup is at Bias Brewing, 409 First Ave. E., on Friday, Sept. 16, from 4-8 p.m. or at the race starting line at the Parkline Trail on race day morning beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Race shirts are available on a first-come basis.
Following the run, an awards celebration will be held at Kalispell Depot Park including music with Marshall Catch Band, no-host beer and wine and food trucks from noon to 3 p.m.
The public is invited to join us for the after party for the purchase of a $10 ticket at the gate.
The Kalispell Downtown Association supports the economic growth and vitality of Historic Downtown by promoting Downtown Kalispell as the social, commercial, professional and cultural heart of the community. The Postpartum Resource Group is a nonprofit, public health benefit organization, united to serve women and families of the Flathead Valley impacted by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
