No. 28873 Flathead Land Trust, in Kalispell, MT is soliciting bids to construct a multi-use, non-motorized, singletrack trail of approximately 4.5 miles of new tread in Bigfork, MT. Work is to be performed by mini excavator producing a 39-inch-wide tread. This project is funded with the federally-funded Recreational Trails Program, as such, contractors are required to follow Federal Contracting Regulations found in 2 CFR Part 200 Appendix II (https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-2/subtitle-A/chapter-II/part-200/appendix-Appendix%20II%20to%20Part%20200). Preferred supplier should have experience building non-motorized, multi-use trail in NW Montana. Contractor must be able to begin work by October 10, 2022, until conditions allow, and be able to begin work again in spring, with completion date of June 1.
