Work is to be performed by mini excavator producing a 39-inch-wide tread. This project is funded with the federally-funded Recreational Trails Program, as such, contractors are required to follow Federal Contracting Regulations found in 2 CFR Part 200 Appendix II (https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-2/subtitle-A/chapter-II/part-200/appendix-Appendix%20II%20to%20Part%20200). Preferred supplier should have experience building non-motorized, multi-use trail in NW Montana.
