Linda Walsten, 70

Linda Kay (Campbell) Walsten, 70, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 in Rollins with her family by her side.

Linda was born in Kalispell on Sept.10, 1952 to James William Campbell and Mary "Phyllis" (Logan) Campbell. She grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High School in 1970. On Sept. 28, 1972 she married Craig Stanley Walsten. Linda loved spending time outdoors and hiking in Glacier Park with her friends and children.

Linda was a member of The Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Lakeside.

Linda’s faith was foremost in her life followed by her unconditional love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Walsten; seven children: Tabitha (Artie) Granger, Rebekka (Jon) Johnston, Lucrecia Lobbestael, Sabrina (Shaun) Simonson, Monicka (Lee) Granger, Vanessa Walsten (Ethan Hamilton) and Dominick Walsten; 30 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; as well as her sister Kathy (Paul) Lykins; and many many loving friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her son Benjamin Walsten; mother and father, Phyllis and James Campbell; granddaughter, Samone Hamilton; and her in-laws, Stanley and Doris Walsten; brother-in-law, Mark Walsten.

There will be a private family visitation on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.

Public visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Lakeside. Services to follow at 11 a.m. Graveside service will follow services at Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell.
