A woman taking out the trash at a trailer park allegedly heard crying and screaming coming from a camper and went over to see a man hitting a woman. The man reportedly threatened to shoot her if she didn’t get off the property. The two parties took off on bikes when officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department arrived. When officers spoke to the couple they claimed that no assault occurred, however, the park manager wanted the duo banned from the park.

An unsupervised 1-year-old, whose pants were reportedly wet from an overflowing diaper, was pushing a shopping cart in the road. A passerby took the child out of the road and waited until law enforcement showed up to check on the child’s welfare. An adult in the child’s home reportedly fell asleep and the child let three dogs out during their escapade. Officers had earlier retrieved two while another was sitting by the sliding glass doors of a bank.

Officers responded to a man’s report about a woman allegedly punching him in the face. They found him sitting in the passenger seat of a car with a beer in his lap and the woman standing outside the vehicle. He had a hard time answering questions and was advised to call someone for a ride.

A passerby allegedly saw a boy with a stick pull out a large knife at a playground which a bystander took away and gave to an apartment manager.

Someone was suspicious of five teens skulking around a church thinking they were trying to break into a vehicle.

Someone reportedly kicked a fence in a couple of places.

Someone was concerned about angry individuals leaving Facebook posts about a woman who allegedly shot a dog thinking it was a wolf. Officers suggested deleting the posts or removing individuals from the page and to call if anyone showed up in person or threatened harm online.

A man reportedly wanted to know what his rights were in protecting himself and his property after hearing third-hand about someone wanting to beat him up.

Officers counseled two children who allegedly rode their bicycles through an intersection crosswalk when they were not supposed to and were almost hit by a truck driver with the right-of-way.

A bunch of kids ran into a fence, knocking out panels, and then took off in a car.
