Law roundup: Unsecured gun earns owner a lecture
Someone reportedly pulling into an apartment parking lot was alarmed to see a 9 mm gun sitting on top of a parked car but didn’t see anyone around. The person waited until a Kalispell Police Department officer arrived. The officer counseled the apologetic gun owner about responsible gun ownership and returned the weapon to him. He told the officer he got home late the previous night and accidentally left it sitting on the car while unloading the vehicle.
A man in his 40s allegedly sat on a property with alcohol and “drug pipes” and refused to leave when asked.

A man purportedly stomping around outside a store had someone concerned he was acting like he was going to kick a large black pitbull and a small black puppy. The passerby also thought the dogs looked emaciated.
