Edward Farrar, 75

Edward Vaughn Farrar of Libby, passed away March 29, 2023.

He was born Sept. 26, 1947, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to Charles and Iris Farrar. Edward was a brother, husband, father, grand- and great-grandfather, and a best friend.

Edward was a family man, handyman, and outdoorsman with many accomplishments. From 1970 he owned and operated taxidermy studios and schools in Virginia, Maine, and Montana, where he performed and taught others the art.

Edward loved spending time with his loving children, grand and great-grandchildren. You could always find him in the Montana mountains hunting, fishing, or just having a good time with his family and friends playing horseshoes and enjoying life.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Iris Farrar; his best friend and wife Virginia Farrar; his sister Carol Farrar Maschauer; family friend Troy Griggs; and son-in-law Mason Smith.

Edward is survived by his sons Eddie Farrar and David Farrar; daughters Annette Derrick and Colleen Green; grandchildren Ryan Farrar, Jake Sartori, Eliesha Merriam, Stuart Derrick, Josh and Chae Derrick, Gracie Sartori, Anna Farrar, Ginny Farrar, Dakota and Angelica Farrar, Trenton and Kayla Smith, and Hunter Farrar; his 20 great-grandchildren; and his best friend Richard Kunz.

Memorial and celebration of life dates and time shall be determined later on.
