Law roundup: Man’s anger fueled by cinnamon liqueur

An angry drunk man, who allegedly had his fill of a cinnamon liqueur, went back to a business despite being told to leave and pushed his way back into a room he had occupied earlier in the evening. A woman then went into the room and the pair were heard arguing. Kalispell Police Department made contact with the man, who was walking outside the building.

A white sedan with black rims reportedly kept pulling in and out of different driveways, revving its engine and then stopping over and over again. A resident told officers the occupants were also playing loud music.

Bartenders allegedly felt uncomfortable around a man falling asleep in the establishment so they asked him to leave. The sleepy man continued his nap in a white box truck in the parking lot. Employees asked for police assistance in moving him along.

A black Ford Escape with out-of-town plates was reportedly swerving in front of other vehicles, not maintaining speed limits and nearly ran someone off the road.

A man reportedly sleeping behind dumpsters was told to leave the property twice and an employee getting off of work decided to call officers to move him along.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a couple of reports about brush and grass fires.

A Kalispell resident called deputies to report a small fire near their neighbor’s fire pit and house. They tried knocking on the neighbor’s door but there was no answer. This was not the first time it happened either.

A fire was reported in a Kalispell a grassy field and a woman told deputies to hurry because it was getting out of hand and heading toward houses, including hers.

A Somers resident allegedly heard and felt a “boom” coming from the area of the middle school and saw lights come on in the building, some of which, were flashing. Houses near the school lost power.

Someone in a car in Kalispell allegedly pointed a laser at a plane flying by.

A Kalispell woman reportedly thought her dog was stolen by people who wanted to sell it and she wanted a deputy to go with her to confront the residents.

A young woman was seen trying to get away from a man who was purportedly “walking with a purpose” northbound toward Hungry Horse and “acting like a bad boy,” according to the person reporting the incident. The person said she would cross the street and he would go after her.

A trailer park owner in Kalispell had concerns drugs were being used there.

A Hungry Horse woman reportedly recovering from surgery told deputies she was going to file for a divorce and her husband told her he threw away property she wanted.

A Ford F250 allegedly parked on someone’s Kalispell property for an entire day and possibly through the night when they found it unoccupied and saw blankets in the backseat. Deputies tagged the truck.

A box containing a blue tote, personal belongings and some electronics was reportedly found by community mailboxes in Kalispell.
