Law roundup: Gun pointed in man's face
A man reportedly called the Whitefish Police Department when he turned around during an argument with his wife to see a gun pointed at his face. During the call, dispatchers heard the wife say, “Are you going to tell them about you hitting the window?” He said he had a few beers earlier, she hadn’t drank anything, that the argument wasn’t heated and started out as a mutual disagreement. He said they had been having problems for about a month.
A 13-year-old reportedly called the police from a restaurant to report “grown women” were threatening to beat them and their brother’s friend up.
A belligerent drunk guy was reportedly trying to drive on Big Mountain Road. Someone was worried he would hurt someone.
A disruptive man allegedly got off a train and demanded someone call the police. He wanted a ride to a shelter, and was banging on the window and yelling. The person who called the police was uncertain if the man was confused or hard of hearing. The man was advised that Kalispell had a shelter, but he said he was trying to get to Missoula and only had $12.
A man allegedly sent threatening text messages to a woman’s out-of-state relative stating they would never see their daughter or grandchild again. They voiced concerns about her being involved in a domestic situation and requested a welfare check.
