Eight Montana Law Enforcement Academy grads headed to Flathead Valley
Of the 65 officers graduating from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy earlier this month, eight are headed to agencies in the Flathead Valley.
The newly-minted graduates are: Levi Burt, Dawson Cooper, Kyra Erickson and Jessie Guffin of the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office; Carson DuBois and Michael Frame of the Kalispell Police Department; and Jacob Dalimata and Micah Friesen of the Columbia Falls Police Department.
Other law enforcement agencies in the region that will welcome graduates include the Polson Police Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Fish and Game.
Graduation was held April 4. The Montana Law Enforcement Academy is located in Helena and various levels of training for state, county, municipal and tribal law enforcement officers.
"These graduates have made a very honorable career choice. I have no doubt they will serve Montana with the greatest professionalism, integrity, humility, and diligence," said Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen in a statement. “By completing their training at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy, they have proven to be ready to take on any situation they may face.”
