Blacktail Mountain Ski Area extends season

Thanks to another shot of winter weather, Blacktail Mountain Ski Area will continue its 25th anniversary season through April 22.
The ski area above Lakeside announced Tuesday that it will be open Saturday, with lifts spinning from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“This is a spring fling send-off celebration, and we’re going out Mingo Mama style,” said Jessi Wood, ski area general manager, in a press release. “Get your Hawaiian shirts and flamingos ready; this is going to be a celebration you won’t want to miss.”
The ski area reported a settled base of 42 inches at the summit on Tuesday. A chance of snow is in the forecast every day this week through Friday.
Full-day lift tickets priced at $25 will be available to purchase online only until Thursday, April 20, at midnight.
Operations, available services and celebration details will be announced throughout the week.
