Law roundup: Staff has bigger fish to fry other than man’s ire
Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an “extremely belligerent” customer allegedly being hostile toward staff who couldn’t sell him a fishing license without an ID. Since his visit, the irate man called the store and spewed obscenities at whoever had the misfortune of answering the phone.
Someone in Kalispell reportedly received calls and texts from a New York phone number stating they were with the Mexican cartel and they were coming after them.
A Good Samaritan who was picking up litter in Kalispell allegedly found a bunch of hypodermic needles and inadvertently got stuck by one. They also found a bag nearby that read “insulin syringes.” They call deputies seeking advice on what to do.
Someone called deputies to report a “man who shouldn’t be there” at the end of a road in Kalispell and said their neighbor was following him to make sure he left. The man was reportedly throwing things out of a backpack, talking to himself and “trying to intimidate others.”
A laser was reportedly pointed into a man’s RV in Hungry Horse. The man requested extra patrol because he was worried someone would damage his vehicles, alleging the gas lines had been cut to his RV.
A Bigfork resident reportedly complained about loud neighbors using a leaf blower.
Someone spotted a car on its side in Martin City and didn’t think the old man inside could get out. The man was reportedly slurring his speech due to intoxication.
Three cows were wandering near someone’s Kalispell driveway.
