AA Lakers sweep Norths

The Kalispell AA Lakers pitchers were stingy with the hits, and swept a doubleheader from Class A Havre Saturday, 6-1 and 13-3.

Max Holden got the most support on the hill, plus had a double, a triple and three RBIs while pitching 4 2-3 innings of the 13-3 win. He scattered five hits and three walks, and struck out one.

Carter Schlegel had two doubles and four runs batted in to back Holden; Adam Nikunen scored three runs, and Ostyn Brennan, Holden and Schlegel all scored twice.

Schlegel threw 5 1-3 strong innings in the 6-1 win, allowing just one hit and four walks. He fanned four.

Brennan had three hits, an RBI and scored twice in that victory; Kaden Drish checked in with two doubles and two RBIs.

The Lakers continue their season Sunday at 1 p.m., with a doubleheader against Cranbrook at Griffin Field.
