Music school’s Montana Music Event postponed due to wildfires

Due to wildfires near the venue and smoke in the air, North Valley Music School has postponed the Montana Music Event that had been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 13.

The school said it made the decision to delay the event out of concern for the health of safety of attendees and musicians.

The fundraiser for the nonprofit music school had been set to take place at Stillwater Landing.

The event was planned to showcase over a dozen talented local musicians and NVMS faculty including Ross Bridgeman, Tim Torgerson, Jeremy Reinbolt, Matt Seymour, Justin Phillips, Brent Jameson, Lee Zimmerman, Jamie Wyman, Katie Rose, and Radio Ranch.

The family-friendly event also features food trucks, craft beer, local wine, and free face painting.

Potential reschedule date is Sunday, Sept. 17. Ticket holders will be contacted and those interested in potentially attending in September are asked to stay tuned for more details.
