Law Roundup: Trespassing cows unwelcome

Four cows wandered onto a property where they weren’t welcome and the owner called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to ask what to do about the trespassing bovines.

A caller sought advice on what to do after finding a puppy because they didn’t want to return it to the incorrect owner.

Blue heeler dogs were seen running loose.

A small dog bit someone on the leg.

A white chihuahua was found with black and brown spots.

Homeowners were counseled to put out a huge bonfire where they were observed burning a dresser.

Someone’s neighbor had a fire in their front yard’s fire pit.

Flames were spotted on top of a mountain range.

A male claiming to have just gotten out of jail knocked on the caller’s door and asked to use their phone.

A customer tried to spend a fake $100 bill at a store.

While drifting on private property, some kids’ vehicles hit a pole and the caller tried to catch them.

Caller said a girl that doesn’t like them slashed two of their tires.

Two houses were burning debris by the lake shore. The caller was concerned drugs and alcohol were at play because they had wrecked a personal watercraft into a dock several times.
