MISSOULA — Kian Caudle scored a hat trick for Missoula Hellgate in an 11-1 win over the Flathead Braves in Western AA boys soccer.

Trace Lenz scored Flathead’s only goal on a penalty kick in the first half.

“Despite experiencing some difficulties and setbacks to start off the game, the Flathead Braves definitely showed moments of real grit and perseverance throughout, especially when coming into the second half, showing an improved coordination, chemistry, and teamwork,” Flathead coach Alejandro Calderon said. “Overall there are definitely a lot of positives that the Braves can build off of, as well as solid potential for the season ahead.”
