Unique twist on ‘Christmas Carol’ on stage in Bigfork
The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater brings “A Totally Awesome Christmas Carol” to the stage.
An awesome-gnarly 80s musical comes to the stage as the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater puts a unique spin on a Christmas classic when it presents “A Totally Awesome Christmas Carol” opening this weekend.
The show runs Dec. 8-10 and Dec. 15-17.
Set in the 1980s this retelling of the Charles Dickens classic will have new life, new music, an 80s gnarly flair, a visit to his past in the 50s and several iconic 80s personalities.
“Don’t be a dweeb-o-rama, come celebrate Christmas with us at ‘A Totally Awesome Christmas Carol,’” say the play organizers. “This is a wonderful place to bring the whole family.”
Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are on Dec. 10 and Dec. 17 at 2 p.m.
Regular ticket prices are $14 for Adults, $12 for Seniors, $11 for Students and $10 for children under 10 and can be purchased online or at the Box Office one hour before performances.
