Girls Tip-Off: Whitefish, Libby and Browning start 2-0

FRENCHTOWN — Jude Perry scored 18 points, 15 in the first half, and helped Whitefish complete a 2-0 opening weekend with a 50-28 win over Stevensville Saturday at the Frenchtown Tip-Off.

Bailey Smith added 16 points, including four second-half 3-pointers, for Whitefish. The Lady Bulldogs led 33-13 at half.

It was a solid Saturday for the Northwest A girls basketball teams; they went 5-2.

Kaydence Stanek hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points, and Libby’s defense helped the Loggers outscore the Yellowjackets 26-14 over the final three quarters.

Rylee Delmas added 11 points and Peyton Waggoner 10 for Libby. All of Waggoner’s points came in the first quarter.
