Law roundup: Men hold power tool closeout from truck
Kalispell Police Department received a report of two suspicious men who were allegedly selling what looked like power tools out the back of a truck. Four cars were seen driving up and exchanging whatever was inside the truck for money.
A 2021 red and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was reportedly stolen.
A chained-up electric bike was reportedly stolen out of a carport.
Two youths allegedly stole a bottle of wine in Kalispell, according to store security who called the Flathead County Sheriff’s office.
A Kalispell resident answered a phone call from a woman claiming to be a lieutenant who had “urgent legal matters to discuss.” The person was advised the call was a scam but they still wanted to speak to a deputy to have them “double-check to make sure.”
Dispatch attempted to verify the location of a trailer engulfed in flames in Kalispell and the caller reportedly became agitated and said, “Hurry up you dumb b----,” and hung up. Everyone inside the trailer got out.
A vehicle was allegedly parked at a Kalispell substation and when a neighboring resident turned their lights on the vehicle took off.
A customer called deputies to report a man wearing multiple layers of clothing, who was hanging around a Kalispell gas station, reportedly seemed “spun out” on drugs.
A 500-gallon propane tank in front of a hotel was allegedly stolen.
