It took about 10 store customers and employees to reportedly hold down a combative blonde shoplifter dressed in black ski bibs and boots who tried to flee the scene and fight them off in the parking lot. Kalispell Police Department officers detained the man who continued to be combative and complained of rib pain. The man, who was banned from the property, allegedly had a past involving assault.

A man allegedly told police he was pulled over by an unmarked law enforcement vehicle with flashing red and white lights. He became suspicious when no one got out of the vehicle for several minutes and then left.

A man was nearly rear-ended at a red light by a young female who was reportedly using her phone and recklessly driving a green Subaru Legacy. He told officers he had the incident recorded on his dash camera. Officers counseled her about her driving.

A man with a history of heart issues and a recent Covid diagnosis called the police complaining of breathing difficulty and chest pain and said he had taken a gram of cocaine.

A driver allegedly parked a black Dodge Avenger in front of a resident's driveway despite a sign that stated, "No Parking." The resident told the police it had been parked there for a few hours. Officers made contact with the mother of the owner who said she would have them move it.

A woman was allegedly aggressive with a skinny dog by pulling and pushing it. The dog was impounded and taken to the shelter.

A transient reportedly kept bringing other people’s belongings onto a property he was camping out at and someone, who told police he was presently cooking, wanted him moved along.

A man wearing a brown jacket and camo pants was allegedly sitting outside a front door cussing and throwing garbage.

A girl allegedly noticed her phone was missing after school and it was pinging to a Columbia Falls location where her grandfather went to look for it. He spoke to a woman who said her grandchild went to the same school and would look for it. He called the police when he didn’t hear back from her and the phone was no longer traceable because it was shut off. Both parties agreed to handle the issue civilly.
