Sally Cooper, 76

Sally Elizabeth Anna Cooper, 76, of Dove Creek, Colorado, died in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Dec. 11, 2023.

She was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Great Falls, Montana, to Erwin and Beatrice Woesnor.  

She attended Flathead High School, and later, Flathead Valley Community College. 

She married the love of her life, Leslie Cooper, Oct. 22, 1966. 

She helped run a successful farm in the Flathead, and later, businesses, and worked for many years at Somers Elementary School. 

After selling the farm, Sally and her husband moved to their adopted home of Dovecreek, Colorado, to retire.

She is survived by her son, Ian; grandson, Sean; her sister, Kathy; and nephews, nieces, in-laws, and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held in late June, in Dove Creek.
