Velma Fay Heinrichson, 95

Velma (Seney) Heinrichson, our loving mother, went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 25, 2023.

Born in Minot, North Dakota to Ben and Dena Seney. In 1939 they moved to a farm in Lower Valley, Kalispell.

Velma attended Demarsville grade school and graduated from Flathead High School. After high school Velma worked at Kalispell Mercantile and later on worked many years at the Motor Vehicle Dept. in Kalispell.

She met and married LeRoy Heinrichson and they enjoyed 52 years together. They had 3 daughters: Randi, Patti and Linda.

Mom was very committed to her family and devoted to her faith in Jesus Christ. She shared His love with all who knew her.

The Lord was her strength, joy and peace. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible school and was a 4H leader for years.

Velma liked to cook and host dinners and they always had a house full of company, either visiting or playing cards or hosting Bible studies.

After dad and mom retired they moved to Condon, Montana where they spent many wonderful years enjoying an abundance of wildlife, hunting, fishing and the beauty of God’s creation. During the winters they turned into snow birds and would spend many months in Mesa, Arizona. They had many adventures together, traveling and sightseeing.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband LeRoy; daughter Randi; sisters, Viola Sundgren and Geneva Lockhart; brother Lavern Seney; and Velma’s twin sister Vera Ripplinger.

Survived by daughters Patti (George) Everett and Linda Rowlette; grandchildren Amy (Jim) Flammond, Jon (Wendy) Everett, DesaRae (Steve) Parker, Shawna (Nick) Geranios;

many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; nephews; nieces; and loving friends.

Celebration of life will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Feb. 25 and 11 a.m., reception to follow. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
