Government contracting seminar

The Montana Procurement Technical Assistance Center is holding an information session that will cover topics such as government contracting basics, what the government buys, and what is required to get your business ready for government contracting. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 1-2 p.m. The event is free and will be held online, and those interested in attending can RSVP to Jill Duval at jill@dobusinessinmontana.com to get the link to join.

Disaster preparedness seminar

The upcoming online seminar "Disaster Preparedness Planning for Businesses" aims to help businesses in Northwest Montana prepare for and prevent natural and human-caused disasters. The talk is being hosted by Audrey L. Walleser, a Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Western District Field Officer, who will provide participants with resources and information to create a tailored disaster preparedness plan, identifying potential risks, establishing communication plans, and implementing emergency procedures. Women’s business center info session

The W.E.L.L. Women’s Business Center is partnering with MWED to host a free evening event on Feb. 23 from 3-6 p.m. at Montana West Economic Development in Kalispell. Attendees will learn about the resources and support offered by W.E.L.L. WBC and will explore the concept of mapping the Business Model Canvas to a business plan to create a foundation for success in applying for financing. This event is designed to be both fun and informative, and all are welcome to attend. Coffee Connect networking

Join Kalispell Chamber of Commerce members for Coffee Connect hosted by Re/Max Glacier Country. Attendees can grow business relationships, exchange connections, and support each other.
