Law roundup: Model scammed out of money, photos

A man reportedly told Kalispell Police Department officers he received checks for a modeling gig but had been scammed. He said he was also defrauded out of $2,500 and photos he was told to send.

Store security allegedly spotted a trespassing panhandler and called the. Officers issued a citation for trespassing and once again told him he couldn’t be on the property of any of the grocery store’s locations throughout the Flathead Valley.

A woman claimed her dog was stolen by a man who was now incarcerated and she wanted assistance getting the dog from the shelter where it had been taken.

A man previously kicked out of the library reportedly returned and put his hands on someone’s back and they wanted to press charges. Officers issued a citation for trespassing and release the man who went to the warming shelter.

Yelling and slamming doors were heard from a red car that reportedly parked in the middle of a street where a woman got out and walked away. Someone who saw the woman asked if she was OK. The man caught up to her and the pair drove off while continuing to yell at each other.

A man and woman were allegedly hanging around a man’s door and wouldn’t leave when asked.

Someone called the police for assistance after several attempts to get a man to move along didn’t work.

Someone reported a blue vehicle with flat tires and an expired temporary license plate as abandoned. Officers put a sticker notice on the vehicle to move it within three days.

A vehicle was suspiciously parked in someone’s driveway with the headlights turned off.
