Cummings scores 30 in Flathead boys loss

BUTTE — Butte’s Cameron Gurnsey scored 12 of his 16 points in the final quarter Saturday, leading the Bulldogs over Flathead 59-48 in Western AA boys basketball action.

Jace Stenson added 12 points for Butte (3-2 overall, 2-0 in league), which pulled away from a 36-32 lead in the fourth.

Noah Cummings hit three 3-pointers and scored 30 points for the Braves (0-6, 0-2). Joshua Eagleton checked in with eight points, including two threes.
