Glacier boys hit 10 3s, bury Sentinel
MISSOULA — Glacier combined balanced with strong outside shooting — Adam Nikunen had four of the Wolfpack’s 10 3-pointers — and thumped Missoula Sentinel 70-37 in Western AA boys basketball Saturday.
Tyler McDonald scored 13 points to lead the Wolfpack (4-2 overall, 1-1 in league), who buried the Spartans under seven second-half threes. Nikunen and Ty Olsen had 12 points each, and Cohen Kastelitz added 11.
Glacier cruised without the services of center Noah Dowler, who injured an ankle late in Friday’s loss at Butte. Travys Agan started and scored six points.
Holter Schweyen led Sentinel (2-4, 1-1 in league) with 10 points.
